• Physical Modeling: Arché Violin employs physical modeling, a technique that describes an instrument’s sound through mathematical functions. It simulates how the bow, body, and strings interact to produce a realistic sound.
• Touché Integration: The plugin is compatible with the Touché device, which allows for intuitive physical modeling synthesis. This integration enables musicians to perform various articulations inspired by real bowed string instruments with just a few gestures.
• Articulations and Expressiveness: Arché Violin supports expressive play, capturing a range of articulations that mimic real violin performances.

Specifications

• Instruments Included: The plugin contains four types of violin models.
• Compatibility: Available for macOS 10.10 and higher, and Windows 10 (64-bit hosts only). It is not yet compatible with Apple Silicon processors and does not support MPE (Osmose) controllers. It supports VST and AU formats but does not offer a standalone version.
• File Size: Approximately 31 MB for macOS and 13.9 MB for Windows 10.
• Licensing: Utilizes the PACE iLok licensing system, allowing up to three activations without requiring a hardware dongle.
