The Martinic AX73 is a modernized plugin version of the classic 1980s analog synthesizer, offering enhanced features while maintaining its vintage charm. Initially overlooked during its original release, the AX73's fully analog signal path has been faithfully recreated using Martinic’s Advanced Circuitry Emulation (ACE) technology. This software synthesizer now integrates seamlessly with modern production environments as an AAX/AU/CLAP/VST plugin, delivering rich, authentic analog sounds through a flexible interface.

Powerful Dual-Layer Synth Architecture

The AX73 features two synth layers with four analog oscillators each, offering deep modulation capabilities with eight envelopes and eight LFOs when combined. The dual layers allow for creative sound design by splitting or stacking across the keyboard. Users can create complex textures, melodies, or harmonies, supported by each layer’s independent arpeggiator featuring 11 modes, including unique options like Shuffle and Improv.

Modern Interface for Seamless Sound Design

Martinic's modern interface simplifies sound design. The Settings View provides a clean, intuitive layout for editing, while the Keys View retains the original hardware's aesthetics but with added functionalities. The robust Preset Manager lets users save and categorize presets, enabling easy access and sharing of collections.

Advanced Effects Section

The AX73 also boasts an advanced effects section with eight built-in modules: Compressor, Phaser, Flanger, Chorus, Delay, Reverb, Distortion, and EQ. Users can rearrange these effects in any order using the drag-and-drop FX Chain for tailored sound processing.

Extensive Preset Library

The plugin includes over 600 presets designed by renowned sound designers such as Nori Ubukata, Summa, and Synth Guru Wiffen, covering a vast array of genres and styles. These presets, along with legacy sounds from the original AX73 hardware and exclusive collections like Doctor Mix, offer immediate inspiration and versatility for producers.
